New Dolls At The Toy Shoppe

I have sent new dolls to The Toy Shoppe. Please go take a look. There is Ruth in her new red checked dress with hearts and red polka dotted apron. Then May in her red striped dress and red heart apron. Finally Penny is there too with her new red heart and pom pom fringe dress. They are already for Valentine's Day and warmer weather. This is my SnowBall Bush that I planted when we first moved into our house. Just realized my SnowBall Bush is covered in "SNOW." LOL

These are the back door steps. Yes the steps are there. Under all the snow.
Here is the evergreen tree in front of our house.

And finally---here is a look out my back door. BRRRR!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, All!!!



It's a day where we get together with family and friends and eat turkey. But it is also a day for giving thanks. So what am I thankful for you may ask...my loving and supportive family, freedom, and GOD. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. My family and I have been blessed many times over the years and I thank GOD for that. So my prayer for this year is same as last years...May the Good Lord bless and keep everyone safe for the next year.

Polo Firefighter's Hog Roast

Here is Sarah, who I donated to the Polo Fire Department for their Annual Hog Roast. Sarah is holding a red felt pillow with "LOVE" stitched on it. There are buttons hand sewn around the word love. Sarah is wearing her favorite blue flowered dress and yellow striped bloomies. She has a linen-type apron. This Hog Roast is to help raise funds for equipment and training for all the guys on the department.

Sophie and Snocone

Here is Sophie and Snocone. Sophie is wearing a red calico dress and snowpeople printed apron. The muslin band is hand stamped "Let it snow." Sophie is holding her Snocone ornament. Her slippers are black wool with red buttons. Snocone is out of Warm and Natural batting, painted cone and with a hint of glitter. Well you can't have a snowman snocone without glitter. LOL These two are ready for whatever comes to them this holiday, are you? The holidays are just around the corner.
