Prairie Dolls

Here are three Prairie Dolls. I love making these gals. They are simple and beautiful. And just the right size for small spaces or hanging on a door knob or even on a tree as an ornament. They are dressed for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Fall. These gals are 9 inches tall.

Happy Fall

Happy Fall!! School has started, leaves are changing colors, and I'm sewing away. LOL Fall is my busiest time of the year. I have designed my first doll. Her name is Penny. My husband, Tim, and my brother, Jared, both say she looks kinda like a Peanuts character. Well I did grow up watching Peanuts on tv.

Nellie

Okay have been waiting and waiting to show Nellie on here. So here she is....Nellie. She was fun to make and to see her personality come out. She is in her best navy blue dress and flowered apron. She has tucked her hankie in her waistband so she has it with her. Now she just needs to find her shoes and she will be all set for going out.

Almost done....

It has been a bit since I blogged. Well almost finished with 11 Little Ladies. WooHoo!!! After all that is done then I get to start on veggies, fall and holiday dolls.
The weather has been cool here lately. Cool and rainy. Good for the garden but makes it hard to get the mowing done.

Finishing dolls

I have four dolls that I would like to finish by Wednesday. Keep you fingers crossed....hee hee hee. It's been beautiful here the last week. It could stay this way year round as far as I'm concerned. I've been able to get out and dig up some peonies. Not that I don't like peonies, it's the little critters they attract. Spent Saturday night at a party for one niece and Sunday at my in-laws. So I had a busy weekend. Now must really get off the computer and get to work....heigh-ho heigh-ho it's off to work I go. Have a wonderful week.

Busy, busy, busy

It's been a busy couple of weeks. I finally got all my orders for IDEX done. I've also been doing spring cleaning around the house, inside and out. I'm going to try some new doll patterns to see how they come out. Plus I need to start making pumpkins, eggplants,carrots, onions....well you get the picture. :-D Well guess I better get back to stuffing.
